During the corn campaign, our customer mainly processes corn straw and corn cob leaves from seed production. In order to achieve ideal shredding at a high throughput, he has chosen a complete system with 40m³ dosing hopper and Biogrinder RBG08 with 90kW. A pivoting conveyor belt throws the shredded material onto the storage yard, from where it can be picked up by the wheel loader. The roof construction on the dosing hopper serves to avoid odor emissions from smelling material such as horse manure.
